BIBLE READING: Romans 3:23; 6:23
Romans 3:23
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
MESSAGE:
The world truly needs Jesus because His second coming is closer than ever. Therefore, it is important to learn how to win souls effectively. Yesterday, I gave some tips on how to effectively win souls. Today, we will consider some more tips:
Build relationships with others, especially those that need Christ, just as Jesus often dined with sinners (Matthew 9:10-13). However, you must be careful not to go to places where you will be in danger or be lured into sin. Cultivate friendships with those who need Christ in your school and neighbourhood, but be accountable to a mature spiritual Christian to guide you. The Lord might have placed you in your school or workplace to reach those whom no one else can reach.
Read the Scriptures to understand them and memorise them. Memorise Scriptures like Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9-13, and 1 John 5:1 and 13. Proceed to recite them in front of a mirror or to another Christian until you are comfortable sharing them with a prospective convert.
ACTION POINT
Share the word of God with someone today.
HYMN 22: Must I Go And Empty Handed?
Must I go and empty handed?
Thus my dear Redeemer meet?
Not one day of service give Him
Lay no trophy at His feet?
Chorus:
Must I go and empty handed?
Must I meet my Saviour so?
Not one soul with which to greet Him?
Must I empty handed go
Not at death I shrink or falter
For my Saviour saves me now
But to meet Him empty handed
Thought of that now clouds my brow
Oh, the years of sinning wasted
Could I but recall them now
I would give them to my Saviour
To His will I’d gladly bow
O ye saints, arouse, be earnest
Up and work while yet ’tis day
Ere the night of death o’er take thee
Strive for souls while still you may.
Strive for souls while still you may
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Genesis 11:1-13:4; Matthew 5:1-26
