Powerful Declarations For 1 October 2023
Open Heaven 1 October 2023 Sunday
Let’s Pray in Jesus’ name!
Thank You, Father, for the salvation of my soul.
Thank you Father for September!
Thank You Father for October!
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for our nation, just as in Psalm 107:1, where it says, “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” We thank You for Your goodness and enduring love.
Father, as in Psalm 67:3, “May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you,” we pray for a special outpouring of Your blessings upon our nation, that all may praise Your name.
Father, we beseech You, as in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Heal our nation, we pray, in Jesus’ name.
Father, we lift up our leaders before You, as in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” Grant our leaders wisdom and righteousness, in Jesus’ name.

Father, we declare Psalm 85:10-11 over our nation, “Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.” Let righteousness and peace reign in our land, in Jesus’ name.
Father, we cry out to You for protection, just as in Psalm 91:4, “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” Be our shield, O Lord, in Jesus’ name.
Father, we pray for unity in our nation, following Psalm 133:1, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” Unite us for the common good, in Jesus’ name.
Father, as in 2 Chronicles 20:15, we declare, “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” Fight for our nation, we beseech You, in Jesus’ name.
Father, we lift up our youth, as in 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” May they be shining examples in our land, in Jesus’ name
Father, just as in Isaiah 60:1, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you,” let the glory of Your presence shine upon our nation, in Jesus’ name.
Father, we pray for economic prosperity in our nation, as in Deuteronomy 28:11, “The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground.”
Father, we lift up our educational system, following Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Let wisdom and instruction reign in our schools, in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over our borders, just as in Psalm 91:11, “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”
Heavenly Father, we pray for a revival of faith and spiritual awakening within our nation, as in Acts 3:19, “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” May times of refreshing come upon our land, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please visit my situation (mention your personal challenges) with Your light and make a way where there seems to be no way, in Jesus’ name. (Isaiah 43:19)
