OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS SEPTEMBER 2023 BIBLE READING MATTHEW 5:14-16
[14]Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
[15]Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
[16]Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 29 SEPTEMBER 2023 MESSAGE
I believe that you must have been inspired by someone through his/her actions or words to change your life in a significant way.
This shows that positive inspiration can make one healthier, happier, and more fulfilled. Today’s Bible text enjoins us to inspire others by shining our light so that God will be glorified.
The world is filled with so much trouble, and to inspire someone, you must have a level of pedigree and demonstrate that you are capable of doing many things.
Therefore, to inspire others, you need to have the following traits:
– Be sincere. People will appreciate you and be inspired when they discover that you are sincere, real, and genuine.
–
– Show a genuine interest in people by being curious about their lives and asking questions to learn a lot from them.
–
– Be emotionally balanced. Don’t get angry at every slight provocation; be in control of your emotions so that others can emulate you.
OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 29 SEPTEMBER 2023 KEY POINT

HYMN 21 – I WANT TO BE LIKE JESUS
1. I want to be like Jesus,
So lowly and so meek;
For no one mark’d an angry word,
That ever heard Him speak,
2. I want to be like Jesus,
So frequently in prayer;
Alone upon the mountain top,
He met his Father there.
3. I want to be like Jesus,
I never, never find
That He, though persecuted was
To anyone unkind.
4. I want to be like Jesus,
Engaged in doing good;
So that of me it may be said
“He hath done what he could.”
5. I want to be like Jesus,
Who sweetly said to all,
“Let little children come to Me;”
I would obey the call.
6. But oh I’m not like Jesus,
As anyone may see;
O gentle Saviour, send Thy grace,
And make me like to Thee
