TOPIC: Conditions For Getting Prayer Answered (VI) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 13 May 2023)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Chronicles 30, 2 Chronicles 31, 2 Chronicles 32, Luke 11, Luke 12
FIRE SCRIPTURE: John 15:1-7 (KJV)
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
MEMORY VERSE: “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” – John 15:4

MFM Devotional For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
Another condition for getting prayer answered is in the Gospel of John Chapter 15. According to our Fire Scripture, we must abide in Christ. It says, “If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done UNTO YOU.” Notice that there is a condition attached to Jesus’ promise in John 15:7. “If you abide in me and my words abide in you,” is your own part of the verse. It is the condition. Then “you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you” is God’s part of the verse. You should note that to experience God’s part, you must first do your own part. To abide in Christ, you must be like a branch that receives its sustenance from a vine. The branch does not reach down into the earth to receive fertilizer and moisture, but the vine does so through its roots. The branch has to abide in the vine in order to live and not wither.

Dearly beloved of the Lord, if you want your prayers answered, one of the conditions you must meet is to stay connected to the Lord, like branches on a vine, in order to live and yield to Christ for your spiritual growth. When a faucet is connected to the pipe that transports water from the reservoir, it will be easy for water to run when the faucet is opened. The same way, we that are called the children of God must stay connected to our God through Bible reading, prayer and meditation. Through these means, we can ask God what we want and, according to His will, He will answer us
Dear reader stay connected to your heavenly father. Another person’s son can never go to a father who did not give birth to him to make any request except there is a connection between them.
You are connected to the heavenly Father.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
My Father, help me to live the God kind of life, in the name of Jesus.
Power of darkness, release my spiritual life and die, in the name of Jesus.
Holy Ghost, purge my spirit, soul and body, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
My Father, help me to get to my next level of spiritual growth, in the name of Jesus.
Any hand of satanic detention, wither and leave me alone, in the name of Jesus.
O God, arise; come into my life and do something great, in the name of Jesus.
Spirit of the Lord, come down and do something new in my life, in the name of Jesus.
