Instead of being jealous of a fellow’s success, be happy for him/her. It is necessary genuinely rejoice with others when the occasion calls for it so that they can also rejoice with you someday. Your happiness for others does stop you from being blessed, so you d not have any reason to grumble or be angry at the success of your friend.
Philippians 1:6 says: “Being confident of this very thing: that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”
This is an assurance that God’s blessings for you are true. Your sincere happiness for others should encourage you to believe that soon, your day of joy will come. It will also help to eliminate any trace of jealousy/envy towards others.
Therefore, rejoice with those who are rejoicing, knowing that your heavenly Father will honour His word in your life.
