OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 21 DECEMBER 2022 MESSAGE
You might wonder if God has favourites. Well, I’m glad to let you know that He does and I am one. It is true that John 3:16 tells us that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. Likewise, Romans 2:11 states that God is not a respecter of persons.
However, the truth in Gods word is that He is sovereign and does as He pleases (Psalms 115:3). Romans 9:15 also says: “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”
God can therefore decide whether to have favourites or not. Believe me, there are a lot of benefits in being one of His favourites. What one should be concerned with is how to be His favourite.
To be His favourite, you need to accept His love by saying yes to Jesus. When Jesus becomes your Lord and Saviour, you must take holiness as your lifestyle. Also, you must worship Him at all times, submit to His will totally and serve in His vineyard.
