RCCG 7 DAYS PRAYERS & FASTING GUIDE NOVEMBER 26 – DECEMBER 2 2022

 RCCG 7 DAYS PRAYERS & FASTING GUIDE NOVEMBER 26 – DECEMBER 2 2022

During the November 2022 Holy Ghost Service, our father in the Lord, @pastoreaadeboyeofficial announced that we will be fasting from November 26 to December 2, 2022.

There will be daily prayers by 6pm.

During these seven days, we will be praising God, confessing our sins and asking God for mercy. Endeavor to be a part of this fast as God will be doing great and mighty things in our lives.

PREAMBLE/GUIDELINES

Text: ” If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; And if my people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land”. 2 Chr 7:13-14.

From the above passage; God has placed the Church strategically for the healings of the land of her habitation. “If my people” Therefore the ills in our nation have correlations with the loopholes in the Church. Issues of sins and other forms of ungodly practices, disunity, inactiveness of the Church in the political domain, lips service to soul winning and many other lapses have tendencies to severe the hand of the Almighty from healing our land as He would have supposed. It is not a light thing that we should repent and return unto God in true heart of repentance: that He may save our

land from her current predicament.

In the light of these, the Lord is leading Daddy GO to declare a seven day of prayers with fasting from 26th November to 2nd December 2022 in order for us to come to the Throne of Grace, confess our sins and then ask for God’s Mercy. We are also to pray along for the accomplishments of the Redemption City of our dream, to be a religious tourist destination and a kind of heaven on earth City of God.

*THE GUIDELINES:*

The guideline is as follows: We are to gather in all our Churches every day by 6pm for the first six (6) days; just to pray for one solid hour without any ceremonies with a thanksgiving Offering. Then on the seventh (7th) day; Friday 2nd December 2022; we will gather at the Redemption City of God and start praying by 7 pm (West Africa Time)

I. We begin to praise Him – We could sing, dance, and praise Him with “Common

Dancing” et cetera et cetera; in anticipation of answers to our prayers.

II. And after then, we will have one (1) solid hour of “Individual Praise” for His

qoodness and mercy without any disturbance

III. Followed by one (1) solid hour of confession and asking Him to forgive us.

IV. And then, there will be one (1) solid hour of you crying to God for mercy.

V. After that, we will leave the rest to God.

*INTRODUCTION TO DAILY PRAYERS IN CHURCHES FOR THE FIRST SIX DAYS:*

In each of the first six days, prayer content in our parishes will be worship, thanksgiving/praises, confession, pleading for God mercy

and then our thanksgiving offering.

*PRAYERS OF WORSHIP:*

Worship is an act of reverence to the Almighty God. To maintain what has been achieved this year and get more than expected, we need to make worship a lifestyle. Let us give God excellent reverence as He is worthy of

our praises.

*Bible Text(s)*: Exo.4: 31, 1Sam. 1:28, Rev.4:11, 5:12-14

*PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING:*

*Thanksgiving* is the art of appreciating God through the demonstration or show of gratitude for all He has done for us. In we are to thank and praise God for His patience over us as Individual, Church and as a Nation.

*Bible Text(s)*: Psa. 136, 31: 19, 1 Tim.2:1-4

*PRAYERS OF CONFESSION AND MERCY:*

*Confession*: If we say that we have no sin, and all these evils abound in our nation, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But, if we can confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us, show us mercy, cleanse us from all unrighteousness and heal our nation.

*Pleading For Mercy*: In an attitude of penitence, after we have approached the throne of grace in worship, thanksgiving and praises as individual, as a Church and on behalf of our nation; we will begin to confess our sins.. Our God is merciful and His mercy endures forever.

*Bible Text(s):* Psa 100:4, 1 John 1:8-9, Heb 4:16
