13. And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

14. And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

15. But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

16. And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 12 OCTOBER 2022 MESSAGE

During Jesus’ earthly ministry, He went about doing good. He healed the sick as seen in our Bible passage for today, raised the dead and performed all sorts of miracles. The truth is that Jesus is good news, from His birth which was announced by angels, to His ministry which was just about three and a half years, then His death and resurrection which brought mankind pardon.

There is therefore no need for you to cram big Scriptures or quote many Bible passages to share the good news about Jesus. You can just tell a story of one miracle Jesus performed. Also, Jesus was good to the helpless.

The gospel is not only for the rich; reach out to that person who has no friend in your class today. Tell the person that Jesus loves him/her and watch the fellow smile. Tell someone about Jesus today because He is the best news ever.

PRAYER POINTS

Thank You Father for the free gift of Your love. You loved me even when I didn’t know me. Thank You Lord.

Thank You Father for giving me Your Son as a ransom for my sins. Thank You for snatching me for the hands of eternal death.

Lord forgive me for the times I have done my will and hindered Yours. Forgive me for not being obedient to Your voice.

Father, help me to continually live a holy and blameless life in Jesus name.

Father, make me righteous. Help me to forsake all unrighteous ways in the name of Jesus.

Oh Lord, may I not be substituted and place in the path of evil in Jesus name.

Oh Lord, as I become righteous before You, take me away from every evil planned and intended for me in the name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, I ask that for this year all I do excels exceedingly in the name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, I ask that Your power be available to make me exceptional and exempted from every evil and in Jesus name.
