Now an octogenarian. Happy 80th birthday to Pastor E A Adeboye

For 80 wonderful years, the world has been blessed with someone special as you,.

Every year 2nd of March, we celebrate our father in the Lord, God’s servant Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.

We are grateful to God for the life of our father in faith, a man whose obedience and alignment to God has led to the building of a part of the great army in God’s Kingdom. We celebrate Pastor E. A Adeboye as he reaches the octogenarian status this year 2022.

Pastor E. A Adeboye’s birthday this year is another reminder of His track record and great strides in Christ over the years. God has been faithful to him and the entire RCCG family. We are grateful for even the physical strength God has given His servant. He is still actively doing the work of the ministry at this age and going on strong.

The road to this point has not been without great challenges and discouragements. But one thing has remained certain over the years and it is that: God is his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore even though the earth be removed, and the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, he still stands firmly.

Even when the waters roar and be troubled, and the mountains shake with the swelling thereof, God is in the midst of his servant; so he shall not be moved: God shall help him always.

Today, we give praise to God for the life of His servant and we want to highlight 3 important lessons he never fails to teach us all the time. Obviously there is a plethora of powerful lessons to share from this man of God but we will pick just 3 today.

1. GOD WANTS US TO BE HOLY

Pastor E A Adeboye never fails to teach about the importance of Holiness for everyone. Without it, no one man see God. All his years of ministry, God’s servant continues to teach believers never to lose sight of their identity and what God expects of them. Years have passed but the message of holiness has not left the mouth of God’s servant because God’s standards in His word do not change.

Pastor Adeboye continues to peach this in his sermons, books, and devotionals. This is one reminder that is needed very much in our perverse world today.

2. HUMILITY IS A VIRTUE

In a world where people immediately imbibe the character of pride and arrogance when they make little achievements, God’s servant teaches that being humble is the right way to live.

God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Pastor Adeboye embodies humility. Especially every time he comes before God. He is never ashamed to bow and kneel in reverence before God.

3. DO NOT DESPISE THE DAYS OF LITTLE BEGINNINGS

The story of how the Redeemed Christian Church of God started is one that is not new to us all. It was a process and a serious journey of training and making. God took his servant Pastor E A Adeboye on the journey of building from little to something great.

Pastor Adeboye worked with the founder of RCCG and served faithfully until God asked him to continue the work in the vineyard. Little wonder the great army God has built through him today as scripture says in Luke 16:10 and 12 that “He that is faithful in that 

which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. 16:12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?”

Happy birthday daddy, Pastor E A Adeboye. We have been blessed and thoroughly furnished by your ministry and we are so grateful for your sacrifices, May you continue to wax strong and inspire everyone around you for years to come.
