Introduction to our Indebtedness

You reading this article today means you are alive and indebted. What benefit can be

compared to life. Many people wrote down their visions for 2018, but some did not accomplish any while others accomplished certain percentage of it. As the year is about to come to an end, there is someone asking his or herself what have I achieved this year. The good news I have for you is a living dog is better than a dead lion ecc 9:4.if you are still alive you are indebted to God.

“For to him that is joined to the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than I dead lion”.

Ecc 9:4

This year some people are even indebted to their follow friend as a result of borrowing from them. All these challenges have made men to be ungrateful to the God who has being breathing the breathe of life to their nostrils every morning. King David under stood this in the bible in book of psalms when he was grateful to God for the gift of life Psm 3:5

I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the lord sustained me.

Psm 3:5.

David was a man who knew all men are bound to praise God in every situation.

 Why are we indebted to God

He load us with benefit

The Lord daily load us with benefits psm 68:19(Blessed be the lord, who daily loadeth us with benefit, even the God of our salvation. Pause and think of Gods benefits in your life.

These benefit are enlisted in psalm 103:1-5

·   He heals thy diseases- At least millions of people around the world fell sick this year. Most of them were treated and by God’s grace they were healthy once more. Let’s come to think of this: “Doctors treat but God heals”.

·   Forgiveness of sin: for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. You are not a sinner because you perform actions that are termed to be sinful; you are a sinner because you possess the nature of sin. Christ died for our sin. What a sacrifice for Humanity. For as many that will recognize him as their lord and personal savior, he is ready to wash away their sins.

· Redemption from destruction: You are alive is not by your power, might, neither wealth. It is of God’s mercy that he protected you till now. He deserves all praises, honor and adoration. If you think your carefulness has kept you alive, the story below will make you see that you are indebted to God.

A member of a family went to the market to buy corn flour. The corn flour was prepared for every member of the family to eat. After eating all the members of the family died. On investigation; it was found that the corn flour was not edible. 

You have been eating from your birth till now yet you are still alive. Can you shout halleluyah to God who has being keeping you.

We were created for his Glory

God cannot praise himself. We are his workmanship created to do his good works. The work of preaching the gospel to the lost soul.

How can i Glorify God

·  Spreading the gospel to as many people as you can.

· Praising and worshiping him because of who he is.

·     By living a holy life.

As long as you are in this world, you are indebted to the Almighty God. Lets count our blessings name them one after the other, it will surprise you what God has been doing till date. But if you have not yet received Christ as you lord and savior, all your praise, worship and sacrifices will not be acceptable unto God.

To give your life to Jesus Christ, Please pray this prayer

Lord Jesus I receive you into my life today. I believe that you died for my sins and rose to save my life, lord save me, cleanse me and give me the grace and power to become a child of God.

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
